About Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation
Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation (LAAC) representing the Antulye, Irlpme and Mparntwe estate groups was established in 2002 after the Federal Court recognised native title within the municipality of Alice Springs, NT. It is a not-for-profit organisation established under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (CATSI Act).
Lhere Artepe is the Registered Native Title Prescribed Body Corporate (RNTBC) representing the Native Title holders of Alice Springs and its core business is to hold land and protect the rights and interests of that land for the benefit of the Native Title Holders.
Lhere Artepe advocates for its members in areas of health, housing, education, employment, policy, economic development and the preservation of language and culture. LAAC provides work readiness and employment assistance in its delivery of social and economic programs; the Community Safety Traditional Owners Foot Patrol, Assertive Outreach and the Rangers Real Jobs program, provides Welcome to Country services for corporate and community events and offers cross-cultural training to other organisations.
About the Opportunity
As General Manager, you will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction, reporting to the Board of Directors to ensure Lhere Artepe achieves its mission and organisational objectives.
You will oversee all aspects of operational performance, governance, and stakeholder engagement, driving sustainable growth and positive outcomes for the organisation and its community.
You are an accomplished and visionary leader with a proven track record of driving organisational success. Your experience spans strategic planning, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement at the highest level. You combine strong business acumen with a deep commitment to cultural integrity and community outcomes.
