About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Director People & Learning, the Senior HR Advisor will work within a small team of HR professionals, providing high level support in the delivery of operational HR advice and to managers and staff across the Northern Territory for the purpose of achieving strategic organisational objectives.
About You
You are an experienced and passionate HR professional with a formal qualification in Human Resources and more than five years’ experience delivering high‑level industrial relations and people advice to leaders and executives. You thrive in complex environments, bringing a practical, strengths based approach to navigating challenging workforce matters while balancing compliance, fairness, and positive employee outcomes.
You have a strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and contemporary HR practices, and you apply this expertise with confidence and credibility. You are deeply committed to working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and with culturally and linguistically diverse communities, building trust through cultural awareness and genuine relationships. Known for your ability to lead difficult conversations and influence outcomes, you foster meaningful partnerships with stakeholders and play a key role in creating inclusive, high‑performing workplaces.
