About the Opportunity

Please Note: This is a part time role (12.30pm – 4.30pm) Monday to Friday

The Receptionist provides professional, culturally respectful, and friendly front office, phone and face to face reception, intake, and administration services. You will be the face of Anglicare NT, where you will welcome clients, staff, visitors, and the public. You will manage bookings for travel, vehicles, room and accommodation and provide direct administrative assistance to the Regional Manager and Program staff.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a qualification relevant to the role in administration or business (desirable)
  • Be a quick learner – able to understand services provided by Anglicare NT and accurately refer calls and visitors.
  • Have a passion for customer service, a friendly disposition, and able to communicate effectively with staff, clients and visitors and external stakeholders.
  • Be highly organised, able to multitask.
  • Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations.

Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
