About the Opportunity

As a Senior Case Manager, you will play a key role in providing culturally safe, traumainformed, wraparound support to adults and families transitioning into independent accommodation. Youll manage a caseload of complex clients, mentor Case Managers, and work across a variety of community settings to support longterm housing stability.

This role is suited to someone who is confident working with vulnerability, crisis situations, and diverse cultural contexts, and who can build trust-based relationships with clients, service partners, and stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:         

You are a compassionate, resilient, and experienced practitioner who can balance client needs with boundaries, safety, and organisational requirements. You will have:

  • Qualifications in Human Services or Social Sciences
  • 3-4 years’ experience working with complex/high risk/vulnerable people and families in community-based environments
  • Knowledge of housing, homelessness, and child protection systems
  • Experience in assessment, assertive outreach strategies and ability to effectively manage complex issues relating to homelessness and assisting families to sustain long term tenancies
  • Ability to deliver information sessions to individuals and groups
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
  • Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal Controlled Organisations.
