About the Opportunity
In this role, you will provide strengths‑based, culturally safe mental health support, mentoring and care coordination to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander young people, many of whom experience barriers engaging with traditional services.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support young people and their families through flexible, youth‑friendly, and outreach‑based approaches. You will play a key role in reducing stigma, strengthening engagement, and improving access to mental health care for young people across Katherine and surrounding communities.
Note: This is a part time position (3 days per week)

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must provide 100 points of identification to confirm Australian citizenship or eligibility to work in Australia; possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a current National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a valid NT driver’s licence.
Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
