About the Opportunity

As Facilitator – Functional Recovery Program, you will lead group-based sessions that support young people to build practical life skills and improve their mental health and wellbeing.

This is a casual role, offering flexibility based on program demand, with some evening work required.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking someone who is empathetic, engaging, and passionate about mental health recovery.         

  • Experience facilitating group programs (mental health or peer support desirable)
  • Lived experience or strong understanding of mental health recovery, homelessness, or similar challenges
  • Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with young people
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of youth engagement strategies and mental health services
  • Commitment to culturally safe practice, particularly when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
