About the Opportunity
In this hands on role, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of Anglicare NT's Work Health & Safety Management System. You will provide practical advice, coaching and support to leaders and employees, helping to ensure safe work practices, effective risk management and legislative compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing WHS advice and operational support across multiple programs and locations
- Coordinating workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
- Supporting incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions
- Managing workers' compensation and return-to-work processes
- Delivering WHS training, inductions and awareness initiatives
- Maintaining and reporting on WHS data and systems, including incident management platforms
- Monitoring compliance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Preparing WHS reports and insights for leadership and governance committees.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum requirement)
- Diploma in WHS (highly desirable)
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a WHS advisory or similar role
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations and codes of practice
- Experience with incident investigations, risk assessments, audits and workplace inspections
- Experience supporting workers' compensation and injury management processes
- Confidence delivering training and engaging stakeholders at all levels
