About the Opportunity

In this hands on role, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of Anglicare NT's Work Health & Safety Management System. You will provide practical advice, coaching and support to leaders and employees, helping to ensure safe work practices, effective risk management and legislative compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing WHS advice and operational support across multiple programs and locations
  • Coordinating workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
  • Supporting incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions
  • Managing workers' compensation and return-to-work processes
  • Delivering WHS training, inductions and awareness initiatives
  • Maintaining and reporting on WHS data and systems, including incident management platforms
  • Monitoring compliance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Preparing WHS reports and insights for leadership and governance committees.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum requirement)
  • Diploma in WHS (highly desirable)
  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a WHS advisory or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations and codes of practice
  • Experience with incident investigations, risk assessments, audits and workplace inspections
  • Experience supporting workers' compensation and injury management processes
  • Confidence delivering training and engaging stakeholders at all levels
