About the Opportunity
We are seeking caring, reliable and motivated Casual Aged & Disability Support Workers to join our team across the East Arnhem region
In this rewarding role, you will provide flexible, person-centred support to clients in their homes, community settings and group activities, helping them maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide practical assistance and individualised support to older people and people living with disability
- Support clients to participate in community, social and recreational activities
- Deliver services in home, community and centre-based settings
- Promote independence, choice, dignity and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with families, carers and community stakeholders
- Maintain accurate client documentation and records
- Contribute to a safe, respectful and culturally responsive service environment.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable older people and people with disability
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services or a related qualification, or willingness to obtain
- Experience working in aged care, disability support, community services or a similar field (highly desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Resilience, flexibility and sound judgement
- A commitment to culturally safe and inclusive practice
