About the Opportunity

Based in Alice Springs and reporting to the Program Manager Aged Care, you will play a key role in coordinating and overseeing the delivery of quality aged care services across the region.

You will support consumers receiving services under the Support at Home Program, Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), restorative care and other aged care initiatives, ensuring care is responsive, culturally appropriate and aligned with individual goals.

This role combines leadership, care coordination, stakeholder engagement and operational oversight.

You will:

  • Lead, supervise and support a team of Aged Care Support Workers.
  • Assist with consumer assessments, care planning and care plan reviews.
  • Ensure services are delivered in line with Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.
  • Support culturally safe service delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Monitor consumer budgets, documentation, compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, quality reviews and audit processes.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A Diploma in Human Services, Community Services, Health, Disability, Aged Care or a related field, or significant equivalent experience.
  • Experience coordinating services for older people living at home.
  • Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, reforms, quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience developing, implementing and reviewing care plans.
  • Demonstrated leadership, supervision and mentoring experience.
