About the Opportunity
As a key member of our Mental Health leadership team, you will work closely with the Director Mental Health, Clinical Director and operational stakeholders to ensure safe, effective and culturally responsive services that support the wellbeing of young people and their families, and will be responsible for the development, leadership and operational management of youth mental health services across multiple headspace centres.
What we are looking for:
You are a collaborative and inspiring leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for young people.
You will bring:
- Approved tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing)
- At least five years' experience in a senior management role within mental health, health or community services.
- Demonstrated success managing services across multiple sites, including oversight of budgets, staffing and operational performance.
- Strong leadership capability with experience driving organisational change and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of youth mental health, early intervention and recovery-oriented practice.
- Experience developing partnerships and working collaboratively across complex stakeholder environments.
- Well-developed project management, analytical and reporting skills.
- A genuine commitment to culturally responsive service delivery and improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
- Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional body (where applicable), such as AHPRA or AASW
