About the Opportunity
Please note this is a casual position - 1 day per week till June 2027
The Right Care Right Place program works to improve access to evidence-based eating disorder treatment through primary care by strengthening awareness, training, referral pathways, and system capability. This role is an important part of helping local health professionals identify, respond to, and support people experiencing eating disorders
You will help strengthen awareness, skills, and referral pathways for eating disorders within primary care and community settings across the Top End. Working closely with the Top End Coordinator, you'll support local training programs, build relationships with health professionals, coordinate events, and contribute to the collection and reporting of program data.
This role offers valuable mentoring, supervision, and professional development while allowing you to build practical skills in:
- Community and stakeholder engagement
- Training and workshop facilitation
- Health promotion
- Event coordination
- Data collection and reporting
- Professional communication and networking
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Hold, or are currently completing, a qualification in Health, Allied health, Health Promotion, or a related field
- Have strong communication and organisational skills
- Enjoy building relationships and engaging with a diverse range of people
- Are confident using Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheets
- Have excellent attention to detail and can manage multiple priorities
- Are eager to develop your skills in training delivery, public speaking, and community engagement
