About the Position

We are seeking to engage a Coordinator in our Opportunity Shop,  a warm and supportive environment for staff and customers. As Coordinator you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day retail operations of the Anglicare NT Op Shop site including receiving donated goods, selecting quality items for re-sale, administrative and warehouse tasks, and providing a positive retail experience for customers.  The role is responsible for the supervision of rostered staff, Anglicare NT volunteers and unpaid staff from community programs (such as NT Corrections or Work for the Dole placements).

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience as a Retail Coordinator, responsible for store functions that include opening and closing procedures, sales, banking, merchandising, preparation of rosters, and managing teams.

Funds raised through the Op Shop contribute to Anglicare NT’s client support and assistance services.

You will uphold the values of Anglicare NT and provide quality services within the scope of the position and associated delegations.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
