About the Position

The ideal candidate/s will be dedicated, hardworking, resourceful and responsive to individual and community needs. They will provide high-quality services in people's homes and the community, assisting people with a range of supports, including daily living skills and skill development, in-home support such as domestic assistance, laundry and medication prompts and social and recreational activities in the community. We pride ourselves on our broad range of fun and engaging group activities that enable people to participate fully in their community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or willing to work towards
  • Able to work respectfully in a cross-cultural environment
  • a passion for helping others to live the life that they choose
  • Be innovative, resourceful and able to work effectively with individuals with complex needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a close-knit team

You will uphold the values of Anglicare NT and provide quality services within the scope of the position and associated delegations.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver's licence.
