About the Position 
In the role of HR Advisor you will have passion for people and bring energy, creativity and innovation in the provision of HR services to the staff and management of Anglicare NT. Working as part of the small HR team, you will support all generalist HR activities including reviewing and advising on HR policies and processes and ensuring the most effective utilisation of human resources for the purpose of achieving strategic business objectives. In this dynamic role you will be responsible for delivering operational HR advice to managers across Anglicare NT, providing the full range of general HR services and activities as well as supporting the payroll function.

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Certificate/Diploma in Human Resource or equivalent of 3 years' experience in Human Resource role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary recruitment and on-boarding practices
  • High level of discretion and sound judgment with confidential and sensitive information.
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with the relevant key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience using a HRIS system and/or a payroll environment ideally Subscribe HR and Micropay.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory driver's licence.
