About the Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity to commence your career in the Community Sector.

You will Provide assistance to Case Managers supporting clients of Anglicare NT’s Housing Support Services. As well as managing a small case load providing direct support to clients experiencing homelessness or housing crisis to achieve sustainable tenancies.

Anglicare’s Housing Support Services provide case management support, life skills training and transitional housing for people experiencing homelessness and people at risk of homelessness including people residing in public, community and private whose tenancies are at risk.

Community Housing is also available for people on low to moderate incomes to provide long-term housing options for people unable to access the public or private housing rental market and a reduced level of case management support is available to these tenants.

There is no minimum requirement for this position, however you are required to have a strong interest in the community services sector and demonstrated willingness to undertake Certificate IV in Community Services or related accredited course of a similar level.

This is an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identified Position.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory driver’s licence.

Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
