About the Opportunity

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact, providing effective, culturally relevant and confidential reception, administrative and office support to the Alice Springs regional office, our staff, clients and stakeholders.

Some of your responsibilities include welcoming and assisting clients, managing appointments and liaising with program staff, stationary orders, maintaining administrative and financial systems, and the coordination and managing of the Alice Springs fleet and facilities.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Certificate in Administration/Business and demonstrated experience working in a busy administrative/reception environment
  • Strong commitment to delivering high quality customer service
  • General knowledge of Anglicare NT services available to client group
  • Well developed planning, time management and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, staff and stakeholders, particularly Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must provide 100 points of identification to confirm Australian citizenship or eligibility to work in Australia; possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a current National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a valid NT driver’s licence. 

 

Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
