About the Opportunity

Anglicare NT are seeking passionate and skilled Case Managers to join our team in Katherine.

We currently have several vacancies available in Katherine, each offering the opportunity to provide intensive, trauma-informed, and culturally safe support to individuals and families across different service areas. Whether supporting young people transitioning from care, assisting families to sustain tenancies, or working with those experiencing housing stress, all roles involve building respectful relationships, developing holistic support plans, coordinating referrals and advocacy, and helping clients build the skills and networks needed for long-term stability and wellbeing.

We welcome applications from candidates with experience in:

  • Youth work, housing and homelessness, or family support
  • Trauma-informed and culturally safe practice
  • Experience in assessment, assertive outreach strategies and ability to effectively manage complex issues relating to homelessness and assisting families to sustain long term tenancies
  • Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal Controlled Organisations

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must provide 100 points of identification to confirm Australian citizenship or eligibility to work in Australia; possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a current National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a valid NT driver’s licence. 

 

Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
