About the Opportunity

Note: This is a 12-month maternity leave cover position ending January 2026

As Team Leader, you will manage and mentor a high-performing reception and administration team in our busy, innovative youth mental health service. You’ll ensure smooth day-to-day operations, oversee reception as the first point of contact for young people and families, and provide essential support to staff and clinicians.

This role combines leadership, administration management, and a commitment to creating a positive team culture. You’ll also handle finance, fleet, and facilities responsibilities, ensuring compliance and efficiency across the service.

To be successful you will have:

  • Appropriate qualification, for example Diploma of Business Administration, with minimum 5 years' experience in administration. Experience in a health services environment is essential
  • Extensive knowledge of administration and reception processes, including accounts management, property management, asset management, ICT skills, vehicle fleet management and telecommunications options. Knowledge of Medicare billing processes is desirable
  • Ability to liaise with a range of health professionals, staff, young people and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, their families, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations
