About the Position

We are seeking to engage a Maintenance Worker to join our Housing Support Program. You will provide grounds work, maintenance and repairs at Anglicare sites as required. The role also involves providing training regarding basic household maintenance to clients so clients can maintain their properties.

To be successful in this role we are looking for an individual that can work unsupervised and/or within a team environment. A qualification in building or other domestic trades, and/or 3 years’ experience in grounds keeping, building/property repairs and general maintenance. If you do not currently have a qualification you must be willing to undertake relevant studies.

You will uphold the values of Anglicare NT and provide quality services within the scope of the position and associated delegations.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
