About the Position

You will support clients of Anglicare NT’s Housing Support Services who are experiencing homelessness or housing crisis to achieve sustainable tenancies through:

  • High-quality case management to address issues related to homelessness
  • Tenancy skills development training provided on an opportunistic basis to build understanding of the rights and responsibilities of tenants, to develop strategies to meet tenancy obligations and to gain skills to maintain a safe, healthy living environment.

Anglicare’s Housing Support Services includes transitional housing which may be available to enable people experiencing homelessness who are on the public housing waitlist to participate in the program. There are 17 one-bedroom units at 10 Bath Street for singles and couples and 27 two-bedroom units at 107 Bloomfield Street for families with children.

Housing support is also provided to assist people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The support consists of case management support to address underlying issues.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess an Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
