About the Position  

Anglicare NT, based in Darwin (Winnellie) is currently recruiting for a dynamic and empathetic leader who encompasses strength-based values to join their Darwin Community Services team.  In the role of Operations Manager – Darwin Community Services you will provide hands-on leadership in the management of a diverse range of government-funded services including Transitional Housing (Garaworra), Tenancy Support Service (HOPP), Housing Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI), Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters (HIPPY), OutCare Darwin, Prison Chaplaincy Darwin, Darwin Aged Care Services and Community Visitors Scheme (CVS).  In conjunction with staff management, you will also be responsible for sustaining sector and stakeholder relationships.   

To be successful in this role, you will hold a Tertiary qualification in social work, community development or human services, possess demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation including child protection and domestic/family violence and have demonstrated experience in the delivery and overseeing of a diverse range of services including housing, homelessness and aged care.  You will be flexible, adaptive and demonstrate innovative thinking and solutions with a commitment to continual quality improvement.  You will also have the ability to role-model self-care principles. 

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
