About the Opportunity

To help meet the diverse needs of our participants, we are seeking Casual Support Workers within our Disability Program. Anglicare NT provides flexible individual supports which assists people to maximize their ability and provides opportunities to meet their personal goals and enhance their independence.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality services in people's homes and the community, assisting with daily living skills and provide support to participates in social and recreational activities in the community.

Various shifts are available across 7 days of the week, and shifts may include early morning, afternoon, evening and weekends. Candidates with availability and the capacity to pick up various shifts across the day and week will be highly regarded.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum of Certificate III in Disability
  • Able to work in a culturally diverse team
  • Previous employment experience in the disability sector will be highly regarded

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current NT manual driver’s licence. 


Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
